What are your hours?
We are open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We offer a full and half day programs. Parents can choose 2, 3, or 5 days per week.
Do children need to be potty-trained?
No! Children may start young preschool before they are potty-trained.
Do you offer sibling discounts?
Yes, a 10% discount is offered for one child (older child/lesser amount).
What is the sick policy?
We do a visual sick-check of each student daily. All children need to be in good health and able to participate in group care. If a child becomes ill, we will notify a parent immediately and request that the child be 24-hour fever-, diarrhea-, vomit-free to return to school.

What is included with the monthly tuition?
Tuition includes daily AM and PM snacks, many made on site or from our CSA box. (Children bring their own lunch.) It also includes afternoon enrichment activities; yoga, sports and movement, science, gardening and cooking. All materials fees are included.
What experience level do your teachers have?
Our teachers have on average 27 years of experience and have educated over 5000 students, collectively.
Is the staff trained in CPR and first aid?
Yes, all of our staff has current CPR and First Aid certifications.
How do you transition children into the program?
We often start the year with an orientation visit to meet the child and their family. This jump starts the trust-building. Parents may be asked to drop off child for varying amounts of times the first week to fully transition the child to Roots and Wings.
Is the program open year round?
Yes, the school year begins in September and transitions into Summer Camp in July and August. We are closed on standard legal holidays and two weeks in the winter.
